- Installation Instructions: Step 1: You will need to disassemble and reassemble the different engine parts, remove the radiator cap, disconnect the radiator. Step 2: Remove the drive belt parts and timing chain, remove its cover from the engine block. Step 3: Install the new timing chain, making sure that the new chain is precisely aligned with the mark on the day chain gear. Replace the crankshaft seal, tap the new timing cover with the new crankshaft seal.
